Student Charges FAQs

In order to student charge, you must be enrolled in classes for the quarter you are trying to purchase items for. CAP Program charges for required materials are directly charged to your student account. When student charging items in-store, your Student ID is required. Any purchases made with student charges are applied directly toward your tuition and must be paid when tuition is due for that quarter. If a balance is carried over between quarters, a hold will be placed on your account, preventing further Student Account charges except for required course materials. You have a student account charge limit of $850.00.

Student charges are open 4 weeks prior to the start of every quarter. During Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter, charges close at the end of add/drop day.

Yes! Any item in the Wildcat Shop can be charged to your student account. You may charge one laptop or tablet from the Wildcat Shop to your student account, if your account is in good standing.

If you have a hold placed on your account due to unpaid bookstore charges from the previous quarter, you will not be allowed to purchase retail goods like clothing and electronics. We will do everything we can to help ensure student success, so please find a supervisor at the Wildcat Shop and we will work with you to get you what you need.

On your student account you can see a breakdown of CAP Provided course materials, other required course material items, and generalized bookstore charges.
